What Is Dismissal Tracker?
Dismissal Tracker helps schools manage:
- Daily dismissal plans
- Transportation changes
- Parent pickup changes
- After-school program routing
- Temporary dismissal overrides
The system begins with each student’s default dismissal plan, then applies overrides or program rules when needed.
User Visibility & Permissions
Teacher Access
Teachers typically only see students assigned to their roster or sections.
Office/Admin Access
Office and administrative users may see broader student lists depending on district permissions.
If a Student Is Missing
Verify:
- Student roster assignments
- Section enrollment
- User role permissions
- School visibility configuration
Automatically Loaded Information
Dismissal Tracker automatically loads important student information from connected systems.
Absences
Absences appear automatically when attendance data is received from your SIS or district integration.
Important Note
Timing depends on when your district sends attendance data.
Bus/Transportation Defaults
Transportation options are loaded as each student’s default dismissal option.
This serves as the student’s baseline dismissal plan unless an override is applied.
